Once it was Midnight in Paris

A strange sort of silence hovers over Paris after midnight. Of course, the sounds of the city follow you almost wherever you go. Its never truly silent in Paris. However, once in a while, perhaps on a special occasion, the city will quiet down for a little – just for you it seems. Walk across a bridge onto the Île de la Cité. Stare at the Notre Dame Cathedral as they turn off all the lights. Stare at the wild waves of the Seine rushing by. Let the rain fall on your bare skin while you dance into the street. Here the chimes across the city tell you the hour. It is then that you will find the magic of a midnight in Paris.
